Dear brothers and sisters in the Lord,
The work goes on in Jerusalem, we have started meeting in the Baptist house after having to leave our meeting place in which me met for nearly 15 years. The meetings are going well and at the moment, we are preaching through Marks Gospel.
I try and go out 4 or 5 times a week to the street to do evangelism among the locals, Jews and Arabs and also try and hand out literature to Arabs as well as tourists.
I recently met a Swedish Lutheran evangelical, ecumenical pastor working with the world council of churches. He told me that all go to heaven and when I asked him where it’s written in the Bible he could not answer me. If we water down the word it makes the Gospel useless.
I was encouraged when I was witnessing to someone and they refused a Bible and a young lady came up to me and said I will take a New Testament and also in Hebrew for my friend .
At the moment, I am burdened about the situation in Iraqi Kurdistan and the many hundreds of thousands of Refugees and the need to help them.
I have been three times in the past two months and have some trips planned early next month and March.
The purpose of these trips is to speak to as many people as possible and present the Gospel to them, through preaching, audio Bibles, whole Bibles and New Testaments and children’s books and through aid to show them the love of God .
I am also trying to encourage the local churches to get involved in Evangelism.
There are lots of aid organizations but very few giving the gospel, either through fear or self-imposed restrictions. The greatest need is the Gospel. Our material aid will be concentrated on buying food and also we will see and try and meet and immediate needs. I will travel with around 200 audio players which we will distribute among the various people groups.
We would value your prayers and support for these important trips and pray that that will be a great openness for the Gospel and that the border crossing will run smoothly.
If any are interested in helping, either to join us on a trip or help financially please contact us.
